Flooding
My solution to these people is:
- the first claim is paid so you can rebuild
- The second claim the State or the Federal government now owns the property

2009 Motorcycle Rant
Tailgating: this is not acceptable unless you are on a race track. Tailgating a bike is dangerous to the biker. If we have to stop in a hurry, the truck/car/minivan/SUV behind a bike will severely injure the biker and passenger.
Racing: Just because I have a sportier looking motorcycle does not mean I will race you down the road.
Respect: When you see a motorcycle rider either on the road or in a restaurant, bar, or where ever treat them the same way you want to be treated. They could be a doctor, lawyer, judge, engineer or any in other profession. We are not all in the Hells Angels.

Weather Porn
I have a question for all the news & weather people, Why do y'all get so damn exited every time there might/is snow coming to southeastern Wisconsin??? It's not like we never get any, for goodness sakes we got enough last year. Sure, we the average blokes want to know if it is coming but get a grip. We don't want to hear from 15 different reporters spread around the area as to what has fallen or not fallen every 10 minutes.

SNOW
Oh my god we are going to get snow. You think the world is going to end! They are claiming we will get anywhere from three to six inches of the white stuff. But the way the media is talking this is the storm of the year. Watch we will only get about one to three inches. But that will be OK with me.

Milwaukee Weather
Wow, did the weather people mess up. Initial predictions were 2-3 inches of snow max, we have at least 5 ½ in our yard from that mess by Sunday morning! But hey nobody is perfect. This is not the only time this snowfall season they messed up with the prediction, at least it snowed this time. Well then again, they were technically correct. Everyplace that matters to them (Milwaukee Media) was hit with three or fewer inches (see my post Milwaukee Media). Thankfully this gave me the excuse not to watch the Packer debacle.
